PDC Gateway Direct Clock to SAP PP-PDC
February 2018
The PDC Gateway SAP PP-PDC and PM interfaces are now directly connected to Kronos or other timeclocks.
Labor confirmations are captured from the clock and sent to SAP in near real time.
Web based management of previous confirmations also available for cancellations and changes.
This new release is now live at Bosch Rexroth and is replacing a complex Kronos Workforce Activities SAP interfaced system.

The PDC Gateway interface can now connect to the Kronos InTouch clocks. These newer touch screen clocks are supported to deliver the same fuctionality as the 4500 clocks. Other advanced features of this clock will soon be supported as well.

The PDC Gateway interface software is now live at The University of Rochester and the associated Medical Center.
The interface connects over 175 Kronos clocks to their Peoplesoft payroll system.

The PDC Gateway interface software is now live at many Swire facilities supporting direct ADP clock interfaces to their SAP system. The new system is also providing a mobile device interface for their employees to remotely enter punches.
PDC Gateway Live @ Mannigton Mills, Inc.

Mannington Mills has completed an upgrade of their old STConnector clock interface to the latest PDC Gateway interface software. They required the ability to continue to connect their 50 Kronos 480 clocks to SAP but needed to upgrade their server to a modern 64 bit OS.
The PDC Gateway upgrade allowed them to do this with the addition of many new features. This was the last remaining installation of the old STConnector product that has served them and many others for almost 15 years.
New PDC Gateway Interface to Acuity IVR Service

The PDC Gateway platform now provides a built in API interface for Acuity's cloud based IVR phone system. With this interface installed and an account with Acuity, any existing or new PDC Gateway clock or other interface can now also include phone punches.
For a limited time we are offering this interface upgrade for free with a signed contract with Acuity.

New Windows Touch Screen Clock Software

We now provide a highly customizable software package that turns any tablet or pc into a touch screen timeclock.
Originally designed to run on a CMI Time TouchTime® II device, it supports biometric readers and can be connected in the same environment as Kronos 4500 timeclocks or others.
It can be configured to work exactly as an existing Kronos 4500 or can be setup to fill any other requirement. For details go HERE.

The PDC Gateway direct clock interface now fully supports ADP 4500 clocks. That's all the features that were previously available to the Kronos 4500 clocks are now also supported for the ADP version of that clock. Clocks of each type can also be mixed in the same system and they will all work as expected.

PDC Gateway Enhanced Error Handler

Current users of the PDC Gateway platform will appreciate the latest addition to the interface toolset. There is now a very easy to
setup and use process error handler. To take advantage of this new enhancement just drag and drop the error handler to any previously configured interface.
Then add the error messages to trap and select the desired action. Multiple actions can be created to handle either process errors, like connection issues or record errors,
like invalid data. Actions can include Emailing the error to a distribution list, resetting the record to reload or other resolutions.

PDC Gateway Kronos Clock Biometric Support

PDC Gateway interface platform now supports the biometric capabilities of the Kronos clocks. This allows the user to enroll
employees and validate punches without any other software installed. Encrypted biometric data is stored in the interface and can be resent to the clocks
during the initialization process.

The latest PDC Gateway interface platform now includes direct communication with Kronos clocks.
This includes both the 4500 style as well as the older 400 series clocks. Although we have been initializing 4500 clocks for many years
we can now both send and receive directly to the clocks with no other software required. Punches can be collected from both clock types using the new
built in PDC Gateway tools. This allows for a simple and efficient punch capture system for our existing SAP interfaces.

PDC Gateway Major Version Release

After a decade in the field, the PDC Gateway interface software platform gets a major core engine upgrade.
With a focus on performance and ease of use the newest release has multiple enhancements over previous versions. The old Gateway Developer Tool used for creating the interface projects has been incorporated into the Gateway Monitor Tool.
All of the original features that users have depended on for years have been maintained but upgraded into a modern language and environment. The processing services have also been reworked into 64 bit versions. The IDOC Receiver Service is now many times faster than previous releases due to its complete overhaul.

PDC Gateway upgrade release - Now with Multithreading Capability

The latest PDC Gateway interface software platform includes the
ability to assign specific tasks to specific threads. This greatly
enhances the throughput of data in complex interfaces. For instance thread
one may include downloads of SAP PP operations to Kronos Workforce Activities
while thread two may post confirmations back to SAP based on activity events in
Kronos. At the same time thread three may be processing payroll records to
SAP CATS. The thread count is unlimited and each runs in its own space
isolated from other processes. This new feature has proven very valuable
in high volume environments, some of which serving many Kronos servers and
dozens of plant locations around the world, all from a single multithreaded PDC
